I believe the most hypoallergenic pet would be a poodle. No kidding! They are very smart and sweet and don’t stink etc. You can get a toy or medium sized.

I rescued a norwegian forest cat and me and my mom are not allergic.
but (she more than me) we are usually allergic to them.
allergy pills can be used also.
would it be smart to rescue a siamese kitten?
I KNOW NO CATS ARE HYPOALLERGENICE but some are better for allergies

Hairless breeds are suppose to be best, but they still produce dander and saliva.

So my friend doesnt belive me that thers hypoallergenic dogs i told her i got it off the tv n shes like tv lies n n i say internet she also says bunch of bc so i need a new come back to prove her wrong?

Answer by B!nd!
Your friend is right.
There are curly coated dogs which are great if you are allergic to dog hair because they don’t shed much, but no dog is truly hypoallergenic.
Many people are allergic to dog dander which is not eliminated by coat type, and others are allergic to dog saliva.

Best hypoallergenic small pets?

Question by Layah: Best hypoallergenic small pets?
I really want something cuddly, but hypoallergenic. Any cool fresh water fish (though I would prefer something you can hold), or anything small, and fairly inexpensive…I know there’s not a lot to go on.
No dogs or cats. INEXPENSIVE PETS

Hairless rat!

They may seem ugly but they are pretty awesome and will love you forever.

Pet stores usually sell them for around $ 10-20. You can save up and buy them a super awesome set up or buy a prepackage rat set up for around $ 50.

How much is a purebred Maltese puppies? And does anyone know where and how to find a good breeder for Maltese?

Question by Princess Lieny Boo: How much is a purebred Maltese puppies? And does anyone know where and how to find a good breeder for Maltese?
I want to buy a maltese puppy now because as stated in my other question, my sister is allergic to the other dog so I found that the maltese is a hypoallergenic dog and I want to get a good deal on a purbred maltese. How much does one usually cost and also how can you find a good breeder?
I know that cost is not a major factor please don’t think that I’m cheap and just want a good deal. I do want a good dog from a good breeder but with all the stuff going on now, I jsut can’t afford a dog that is way overpriced you know what I mean?

Answer by Bers
The best place to research a breed is usually that breed’s national club. Here’s the one for the Maltese:

Make sure it’s the right breed for you before choosing, and you should be less concerned with getting a “good deal” than with getting a great breeder and a well-bred puppy. I have no idea how much they cost from a good breeder, but whatever the cose it will be well worth it in terms of health and quality breeding.

Puppy mills and backyard breeders fuel the heartbreaking overpopulation of animals that causes so many to die every year.

Don’t forget to click the link on the Maltese Club home page for rescue – you might just find a wonderful Maltese in a rescue group who needs your love.

Types of hypoallergenic cats?

Question by : Types of hypoallergenic cats?
I’m allergic to cats, but I love them to death and really want one. I heard from a friend there might possibly be types of hypoallergenic cats out there, and I was wondering if you guys knew a name of some of them. Thanks!

Answer by sara
You need to get something that doesn’t shed they don’t have actual hypoallergenic cats but Russian blue cats have very short hair and don’t shed I’ve had 3 my whole life and love them my youngest child is allergic to cats but not our Russian blue. Russian blue cats also have different skin which may be the reason
