I heard there’s no such thing as hypoallergenic dogs and whenever someone speaks of a breed that is, they are lying. So if someone has a hypoallergenic dog and if they get symptoms, they have convinced themselves like brainless sheep that if it were a “normal” dog, their allergy symptoms would be far worse. In reality, they’ve fallen for a sick marketing ploy by a dog breeder who’s trying to make a buck.
Is this true or false? Will obama fall victim to the oldest trick in the book?

well, there are dogs that don’t shed, those are hypo allergenic because the hair wont go up ur nose.

There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog. Though some dogs produce fewer allergens than others, all dogs produce too many allergens to be considered hypoallergenic, even with the most stringent grooming.
If you’re looking specifically for a Bichon to rescue, try checking Bichon rescues.

You can also find them through PetFinder. If you specifically want a puppy, about your only chance is if you can find a Bichon mix puppy. Purebred Bichon puppies are easily sold and very unlikely to wind up in rescue or shelters.

Are all Labradoodles Hypoallergenic ?

I heard that people cross Labradors, with poodles, to develope the hypoallergenic Labradoodles. I don’t understand though, how can they guarantee that the hypoallergenic trait of the poodle will pass onto the puppies ? Are all Lab/poodle mix puppies hypoallergenic ?
The main reason I am worried about htis is becuase I really want a dog, but my mom insists we get a labrador. However we recently found out I’m allergic to dogs, so we are considering labradoodles.

1st generation labradoodles (that is ones with one lab parent and one poodle parent) may or may not be hypoallergenic depending on which parent they inherit their coat from. However breeders will only breed dogs that have the desired coat, so a few generations down the line they will have the poodle (hypoallergenic) coat. If you choose a reputable breeder you should be able to get a good lineage of the puppy so you know what generation he is.

Truth be told there is no such thing as a hypo-allergenic cat OR dog, but some breeds shed much less that others making people with allergies less likely to suffer with a pet in the home..
Concerning Rag-dolls they are lvoely cats but also a bit rare and costly, you’d only find one through a breeder, you’d be very unlikely to find one for free…
