No. There are, actually NO hypoallergenic breeds. Some may produce less allergens, but as the link below explains, that is not measured to make the determination.

there really isn’t any hypoallergenic cats. It’s just that some breeds of cat produce less of the dander than others. The saliva creates the dander when cats groom themselves.
There is a company called Allerca that makes low allergy cats, but people with bad cat allergies will still suffer. And these cats are like $ 3000-4000 US funds.

unless you get a hairless cat, which are very expensive and not that cute..
I own a beautiful russian blue, I love him SO much..
but he does bother my mothers allergies when she comes over.
if you can take allergy pills and be ok around a cat, I highly recommend the russian blue, it is the best breed of cat I have ever delt with. they have awesome personalities!
