Bichons are really good with kids and other dogs, and are hypoallergenic.
I still have to see a “hypoallergenic” dog.
Do you already have dogs? If so, any size non shedding dog will work. If not, get an adult, large breed if you have young kids(under 8).
As far as hypoallergenic, I would just google them.
standard poodle will be your child’s companion for life will be loyal and loving
labradoodles its a mutt mix between labrdor and poodle as far as any dog getting along with kids and other dogs depends on how and what u train it for ,hope this helps
Soft coated wheaten terriers
I have one there the best
go to puppydogweb.com/softcoatedwheatenterrier.htm for more information
hoped that helped

No dog is hypoallergenic. Some breeds are less likely to trigger allergies than others is some people. My recommendation would be to resarch some of the allergy friendly breeds and decide which fits best into your live style then contact a breeder explain the allergy problem and request spending time with their dogs to see if they trigger a reaction. As far as being good with kids any dog if raise properly can be good with children however I don’t generally recommend very small or fragile dogs with young children as they are much more likely to be injured with rough play that something a bit more sturdy.
You didn’t mention what size dog you are intreseted in but some of the more allergy friendly medium sized breeds are the larger terriers, the Basenji, and the Miniture Poodle. For large breeds some of the more allergy friendly are Bouvie de Flaunders, Standard Poodle, Giant Schnauzer, Protgese Water Dog and Irish Water Spaniel.
As far as mixed breeds stick with mixes that have the terrier or poodle style coats but again be careful to spend a good amout of time with the individual dog to make sure it does not trigger allergies. Mixes vary greatly even in a mix of the same two breeds so it is very important to spend time with the individual dog you have in mind before taking it home.
take it from someone with a dog allergy there are no dogs that are hypoallergenic! there are dogs that shed less (most short haired dogs)!
i have grown up with a dachshund and now have a boxer. neither bothered me terrible and both are great with kids!
best wishes
well, there is no ‘hypoallergenic’ dog. but pugs are REALLY great with kidsfamilies and will act like a parentolder sibling to other dogs. they dont shed that much at all and need VERY little grooming (also easy to potty train) we have a 3 year old pug, and 3 little brothers, and she’s as friendly as can be.
In the first link below there is a list of dog breeds, that are considered to be good for allergie sufferers. In the second link below it gives the reliability with kids, so once you find one good for allergie sufferers, you can do some comparing. But if you find a breed you like, please please do your research before you buy. Good luck!
